Friday March 24th we travelled to the Ela Valley where on many occassions the Philistines and the Israelites met in battle. This is the valley where the young David volunteered to go out to the battlefield and meet Goliath, the pride of the Philistine army. It was here that David ended Goliath's military career with one carefully selected smooth stone.
